A reconditioned B-grade gaylord typically lands 50–65% below a new equivalent — without a meaningful drop in service life for most reuse cycles.
New boxes from a mill run 3–7 days from order to dock, sometimes longer in tight kraft markets. Used ships from our yard the same week.
If you report Scope 3, the embodied carbon on a reused box is already paid for. Easy line in your sustainability report.

How we keep boxes ready.
Inventory tiers
We carry three tiers of used boxes. Tier A is high-frequency standard sizes (40×48 footprint, double or triple wall) — we maintain three weeks of peak run rate. Tier B is mid-frequency specialty sizes — two weeks. Tier C is niche sizes — one week or order-to-build.
Why three weeks of safety stock?
The 2022 triple-wall shortage taught us. The Tier A buffer is sized to absorb simultaneous demand spikes from our two largest auto customers without bottoming out.
Pre-staged outbound
About 40% of our used outbound ships from a pre-staged pallet that was assembled the morning after a quote was accepted. The remaining 60% gets pulled, graded, palletized, and wrapped to-order. Both turn around within five business days.
Inventory audit cadence
Monthly count for Tier A by Patricia's team. Quarterly for Tier B and C. We catch about 1.5% miscategorized stock per quarter — small but important for keeping inventory reality grounded.
